What will be the job content?
 

• Full responsibility for area of packaging as a Process Engineer.
• Responsible for the planning and procurement of load carriers under consideration of technical, economic, qualitative, and scheduling aspects.
• Accepting the project from the quote logistics planner
• Detailed planning of highly efficient packaging concepts in accordance with LEAN principles in keeping with the logistics concept
• Implementation of the same in the existing series organization, including procurement activities for corresponding quantities
• Ongoing schedule and cost monitoring (CAPEX planning)
• Master data management in SAP
• Compliance with internal and external standards and specifications
• Coordination of the planning results in the sub-team, with the operating departments, and with suppliers and customers
• Successful handover of planning to the series organization
• Lead in continuous improvement processes and audits

Personality requirements and skills

• English - fluent
• University education – engineering field
• Experience on an engineering level in a produciton company
• Experience and/or knowledge of packaging planning - advantage
• Practical experience in e-drive projects - advantage
• Very good skills in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Pack-Assist - advantage
• Knowledge of modern working and management systems in the automobile industry is desirable (Lean Logistics, MTM, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, etc.)
• Coordination skills, ability to work independently, assertiveness
• Highly goal-oriented, logical/entrepreneurial thinking ability
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Basic project management awareness
• Open to learning new things in the automotive and e-mobility fields
